WHY SUPPORT US?

At Mary and Joseph Junior School, we believe that education is the key to unlocking potential. Our school is more than just a place for academic learning; it is a community where we nurture each child's emotional, social, and moral growth. Through personalized care, we ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to succeed.

We offer a holistic approach that integrates academic instruction, life skills, and nutrition, with the goal of creating well-rounded individuals ready to contribute to their community and beyond.

OUR VISION

A learned society empowered with knowledge and skills for a brighter future.

OUR MISION

To provide quality education to disadvantaged and vulnerable children, fostering their holistic development for the benefit of themselves and society.

About the founder

Fr. Titus Ahabyona Winyi, a devoted Catholic priest and diocesan priest of Fort Portal Diocese, established Mary and Joseph Junior School in 2016 in the rural setting of Butiiti, Kyenjojo District, with a clear vision: to bring hope, education, and opportunity to the most vulnerable children in the area. His deep commitment to serving underprivileged communities and his pastoral experience in rural Uganda fueled his desire to address the challenges faced by families in the region, particularly those struggling with poverty and lack of access to quality education.

Our future plan

Dormitory Construction.

We are building dormitories for both boys and girls to accommodate students from distant villages, making education more accessible and reducing travel time.

School Farm Expansion

By growing more matooke (bananas) and raising cows, we aim to further enhance our feeding program and equip students with agricultural skills.

Borehole Construction.

To address the water needs of both our school and the surrounding community, we are planning to construct a borehole that will provide clean, accessible water for all.
